The PhD will develop a wake-up image sensor based on event-based techniques that will be able to quickly detect luminance variations and or recognize patterns. The system will exploit event-based image sensor technology, which has been developed at the TIMA laboratory, and will embed light computational resources in this smart image sensor. This work will be done in cooperation with the CEA, which has already experience in wake-image sensors.
