Mitigation of radiation effects on the attitude estimation processing of autonomous things

Safety-Critical applications, Neutron Radiation Effects, Attitude Estimation Algorithms, Radiation Induced Error Mitigation

This doctoral thesis project aims to investigate space-to-ground radiation effects that can upset attitude estimation algorithms of inertial navigation systems for safety-critical applications such as unmanned vehicles and satellites, devising new software-level solutions for mitigation of radiation-induced errors and related failures.
