Abstract: This PhD thesis will focus on the robustness of hardware implementations of bio-inspired neural networks (Spiking Neural Networks) by using emerging technologies (memristors and/or spintronic devices).
The innovative aspects of this research topic are related to the test and reliability aspects for HW implemented Spiking Neural Networks with on-line, unsupervised learning.
