Extra Activities
 Sunday 12 March
The organization committee proposes to discover the beautiful Chamrousse ski resort situated near Grenoble. With a large kind of ski slopes, the resort provides various skiing practices: from the experienced skiers or snowboarders who can enjoy freeriding in secure areas to the begineers who can profit by adapted areas. The famous nordic ski domain “plateau de l'Arselle” in Chamrousse resort offers cross-country skiing practices. At last but not least, snowshoe trekking near to the resort offers amazing panoramic views of Grenoble and of different Alpes mountains.

The fees for these different activities are:
Alpin skiing (include ski pass for alpin domain, ski, boots and transport): 66€.
Snowboarding (include ski pass for alpin domain, snowboard, boots and transport): 72€.
Nordic skiing (include ski pass for nordic domain, ski, boots and transport): 36€.
Snowshoe trekking (include snowshoe, shoes and transport): 36€.

Participants are responsible for the snow clothes (gloves, sun glasses, pant, jacket...).

 Thursday 16 March
To relax after the conference, we propose a trip to the Mont Blanc. At Chamonix, a cable car takes you up to the “Aiguille du Midi” at 3,842m. You will discover exceptional facilities at this altitude. They enable you to contemplate grandiose scenery where several summits over 4,000 meters. For sightseers, the discovery of the world of the high mountains. For the skiers (confident on red runs) it could be the start of a 20km long freeride skiing with a vertical descent of over 2,500m. The Vallée Blanche would stand out among the world's classics on these facts alone. Add to this some of the most awe inspiring high mountain scenery, towering 4,000m peaks and tumbling glaciers, and you have arguably the best lift accessible ski descent in the world.

To go to Chamonix an initial commitment of 30€ is needed for the transport reservation.
On site, the organization committee proposes you these following optional activities:
Sightseeing tour in Chamonix: A guide will show you famous places of Chamonix and will come with you at the “Aiguille du Midi” (3,842m). The additional fee for this activity is 50€ (including guide, visits and car cable fee) and will be paid on conference site.
Alpin skiing in the Brévent-Flégère ski resort: Facing the Mont Blanc range, with sunny exposition, area offers an incredible panoramic view and a variety of ski slopes suitable for skiers of all categories and levels of expertise. The additional fee for this activity is 55€ (including ski pass for alpin domain, ski or snowboard and boots) and will be paid on conference site.
Freeride skiing with a certified mountain guide in the "Vallée Blanche": In the heart of the Mont-Blanc range the descent of the "vallée blanche" is surely one of the most fascinating ways to encounter the world of "haute-montagne". The additional fee for this activity is 150€ (including cable car fee, mountain guide, ski and boots). To reserve a mountain guide, a confirmation email to organizers and a commitment of 35€ will be asked. This amount will be paid back in case of cancellation due to a bad weather. The last part will be paid on conference site.
